Since I don't condone any government sanctioned control over mine or anyone's body, I can understand peoples reasoning for it.
People abuse systems all the time, medicare, social security, disability, medicaid and of course at this moment, my fave, income tax.
I realize that there are some people who need assistance but for how long.
The 19 year old girl who has 2 kids under the age of 4 and is living in a nicer apartment than I am and paying very little for it because she is on Section 8 housing, kind of pisses me off.
I have said this before (usually to myself or in my own mind) but I'll say it here, no one has to have kids. It is not a right, it is a privilege. So when someone has a kid or kids and can not take care of them without assistance from the government, well at that point maybe they lose some of those rights because they couldn't handle the privilege.
That's my opinion. And many may hate me because of it but, we are a privileged society. We want, want, want but never think of the consequences. Maybe there should be more consequences for the people who keep having children with no way of taking care of them.
